5Outstanding product  Jul 04, 2010 By D. Legendre "Anonymous"
I got my Acorn Polar Moc slippers six months ago as a Christmas gift. I work at home so, quite literally, these slippers have not left my feet since then.

And I must say they are in *perfect* shape. Not a single rip, shedding, or loose thread. They are so sturdy, in fact, that I've used a stairmaster exercise machine for about 100 miles while wearing these slippers, and they are still in perfect shape. After all of this intense beating, the soles are not thin and flat but nicely soft and squishy.

Moreover, they are warm and comfortable. I suffer from bad circulation in my feet, and so have chronically cold feet. These slippers increase the warmth of my feet quite a bit, and hence increase my comfort level while I'm working and studying. Also, they are stretchy so you can wear heavy socks and still fit your feet into these slippers for extra warmth.

My shoe size is 10.5 and the 10.5/11.5 fit my feet perfectly. The slippers may begin a bit snug, but if you wear them around for a few days they will stretch to accommodate your foot size.

The bottoms are made of rubber so that you can step outside without collecting dirt or doing damage to the slippers. Like one reviewer said, this is good for running out and grabbing the mail without having to put on shoes.

Lastly, the fact that you can wash these slippers in the washing machine is very convenient. Although the sheepskin slippers may be warmer, they (I don't think) can be put in the wash like the Polar Moc can. After wearing these slippers constantly for months, some odor is hard to avoid, but one round in the wash and they smell fresh and new. Also you can try putting the slippers in the freezer for a night. While not as effective as a wash, this can be a quick solution and does no damage to the product.

All in all, I'm extremely satisfied. At this rate, I'll be wearing these slippers for years. For the price, this product is a very good value. I hope my review has been helpful!

5Clarification on sizing!  Jan 05, 2009 By Howard
After reading reviews here, specifically the one stating that the Acorn slippers run large, with Medium being big for the guy with size 11 feet, I ordered medium for my own, 10.5" feet (my exact foot measurement with ruler.) I wish that guy had NOT written that review because the medium size is uncomfortably small for someone with a 10.5 inch foot. Suggestion: for sizing, TRUST ACORN'S SIZING CHART, *not* the reviews on here! (Since Medium size doesn't fit me, I can't comment on their comfort etc., but the quality seems very good.)

5Nice slipper  Oct 19, 2009 By Mandy
I've just ordered a second pair of these for my husband. He loves these slippers. The first pair has lasted almost 2 years, pretty good considering he often works at his home office and wears them all the time. A size medium is perfect for his 10-10.5 size foot.

3Comfortable but oversized  Dec 11, 2008 By P. Redmond
I'm generally an 11 or 11.5 when it comes to shoe size, but based on these slippers I must be a bit smaller. I purchased the "large" size which is said to fit sizes 10.5-11.5 but unfortunately the slipper is much too big. The back of the slipper slips off the back of my foot constantly. Aside from this small annoyance, they are very comfortable and sturdy. Buy smaller than your actual shoe size and you should be quite satisfied with your purchase.
