When I first opened the box and unfurled one of these, it seemed to me that they are a bit long. I like my undershirt to fall 2-3 inches below my waistline, but these were way long.
But after one wash, the shirt shrinks up to the right size. It is pretty thick and seems well made. Also, there are no tags at the back - so less itching :)
Overall, I am highly pleased with this shirt.

I ordered one pack of the white ones and decided to order 1 more white, plus 2 packs of the black/grey ones. I'm 6'4, 210 lbs so finding the right fitting shirts/undershirts is always tough. I seem to always fit right in the middle between a large or XL, I ordered these in large and they fit perfectly, even after several washes. Very happy with this purchase, will come here and buy more when needed.

My husband is picky about his undershirts when it comes to quality material, shrinkage in the wash, stretching when wearing, etc. We purchased 5 brands of tanks to compare: BVD, Dockers, Tommy Hilfiger, Hanes, and Evolve (from Target). These tied for last with Hanes, the Evolve leaving them all in the dust.

I'm picky about underclothes. I'd sooner wear an "I'm with Stupid" T-shirt with an arrow pointed at my head than ill-fitting A-shirts. I can't stand brands that are ill-fitting and itchy. Frankly, I'm too old for the discomfort.
The BVD 4-pack is a great value for 100% natural cotton undershirts. They are soft and warm with a conforming fit. The shirts are long enough to accommodate a little shrinkage after the first few washes. I chose the Black/Heather Grey 4-Pack and was pleased with the texture and color.
The BVD brand is thicker and more snug than my Fruit of the Loom Men's A-Shirts. And the BVD shirts appear to have the same quality of construction as more expensive brands (I'll post an update should their durability becomes an issue).
In summary, you can spend more for a single, designer A-shirt than this 4-pack BVD offers but you won't find a better value.
