I've had a couple of pairs of these in different colors now, and they are among my favorite slacks. Like all dickies when you get them they are very stiff, almost like lightweight cardboard, but once they break in they are very comfy. The scotchguard treatment works pretty well, and they are resistant to most stains that would indelibly mark untreated cotton.
These are straight cut, flat fronts, so they have a pretty snug fit. If you need more room or want a baggier look, get them larger, or get another cut.

Durable and look great on my husband! I like the flat front and the fact that they are wrinkle free. They hold up very well after numerous washings. Great value and quality.

As a simple good looking work pants, these do the job. They fit well and are very resistant to liquids and wear. However, they are made from something that feels like sack cloth. Not the most comfortable material but sturdy and once broken in, they work very well.

I have large thighs and a big butt. Unless you like to call attention your butt, buy these pants a size larger or buy looser fitting pants.

Good Pants for those who like a snug fit Feb 23, 2011 By Srini
These pants are a blend of 60% Polyester and 40% Cotton, which means that the material is more like a hard sheet that will eventually soften out, but slowly.The Fit is a snug one as many have pointed out below.

Great for those whose body shape is sleek and uniform i.e read as those without belly and hip fat. The reason being that these pants are not for those seeking a relaxed fit around the waist, cause the design is flat front.

The material is rugged and washing doesn't shrink the material.
Please note that there are no elastic waist bands to accommodate waist increases!
This means that, When you buy, do buy a size 2" above your normal waist size so that you can get a relaxed fit and can also sit comfortably without being stretched! Also note that the +ve is that there are no buttons in the waist, but rather a rigid Steel Metal Hook.

I welcome this as I am tired of those buttons popping out, and this return to old fashion is getting back to basics.
Recommend it to those who are looking for a simple, no-nonsense, rugged pant for everyday work/wear in the outdoors/factory/work.

I am highly impressed with Dickies as a brand and will buy their stuff in the future as well.
Very practical and nice! minus all the over the moon advertising that has no relation to the actual product!
Go for it, but with 2" above the normal size that you wear.
