Good idea...poorly laminated leather comes apart Dec 23, 2008
By OneTrueKevin Wanted the dual black/brown after listening to my wife taunt me about matching the shoes on any particular day. Very refined look, almost fancier than I wanted. Nicely beveled surface makes it very easy to put on and very sleek appearance. Cool pivoting buckle to switch black to brown.
Sadly, the leather around the buckle [where the holes are that you actually use] lasted about 3 months of occasional use [2 or 3 days per week] and began to separate. Looks like the black and brown is separately dyed leather [probably a good idea] and then laminated/glued together. Thus, began splitting apart where you buckle it. Can't be worn in professional environment [pharmaceutical overlords] like this.
Too bad because it's a nice idea pretty well executed.
