Gets the Job Done! Jan 02, 2008
By Christopher J. Jenson

These gloves are very comfortable and have saved my hands countless times. As they accumulate wear, however, the leather warps a bit and the gloves get a little stiff in the smaller digits. This can probably be expected of most gloves, but overall, a great purchase.

Good for grilling Jul 12, 2010
By Kawakami My buddy who's a welder was horrified to learn that I use these for something as sissyfied as cooking. Oh well.
These are much better than BBQ mitts since I can hook a finger under the grill handles and manipulate tools more easily.
Also, I have small hands, and these fit me perfectly. So larger handed individuals should be wary.

Really good welding gloves! Dec 16, 2010

I bought these gloves to do basic oxy-acetylene welding and they have performed exceptionally. The stitching is much better then other welding gloves I have used and the built in heat shield on the back of the hand is a nice touch. These gloves are also remarkably tough and able to stand up to my run-ins with the wire wheel! The only small complaint I have is that they are stiffer and thicker then other gloves I have used and therefore it is harder to grasp thin objects, namely filler rod!
If you are looking for a glove to use for gas welding that will transition nicely to TIG welding in the future, these will suit you well!

Perfect Welding Gloves Apr 25, 2010
By K. L. Short Picked these up for the man. He uses them all the time and not just for welding. To keep his hands and arms cool when he is cooking at a high heat. Great fit and great quality.
There is a reason they don't mention these as XL Jan 18, 2012

I have been on the search for XL welding gloves for a while, and tried these on at at Northern Hydraulics. They don't mention it here, but they are labeled "XL". Well, I have XL hands, and these not CLOSE to being XL, which is why they probably don't mention this in the details on Amazon. They are good quality, so I won't rate them lower than I have, but would only recommend them for small to medium/large hands. If you have long fingers, look for another pair.
As I have mentioned, I don't own these, but obviously I tried them on and found them lacking in size.
