I am familiar with Mechanix Wear gloves after working in a shop; I began buying them when they first hit the market. Most of those I had in the past are long gone because once someone tried them on they disappeared...

The few pair I held on to always lasted, and I haven't seen these gloves wear out except the heaviest of use. For that reason, when I needed a pair of multipurpose gloves I knew right where to look. Picked up these padded ones to double as weight lifting and bike riding gloves. The fit is pretty good, padding is right where it should be, and build quality seems to have remained stable over the years. Look no further when you need durable, good fitting, reliable gloves at a fair price.

Since I have to work with hot lighting equipment I was looking for something flexible, heat resistant, and with extra protection on the fingertips. These gloves provide just that and are much cheaper online than you would find them in Osh or other places.
