Great gloves Nov 18, 2005
By Section 8 I had a pair of these (not the stealth style) and lost one of them so when I saw Amazon selling them for only 20 bucks I grabbed them.
They have excellent grip, are very comfortable and they look really cool. I use them for work, but I also use them sometimes for driving because they have such great grip. Mechanix makes great products - very high quality.

great gloves, low profile for those who don't need the brand name splashed all over Apr 08, 2008

these are the gloves issued to security forces in Iraq. they are good for many tasks, but if you want something a little more hardy go for the new 'plus' gloves from the same company. they are good driving gloves and are comfy-not bulky. they are good for 'regular' tasks (not heavy ones like construction!) like helping a friend move, (protects hands, helps with grip) hiking (to grab limbs and rocks better), maybe even playing football and golf? i searched all over the net and found the best price for them on amazon. they have their own website (Mechanix) that will explain the uses and features of all their gloves. so many kinds for so many uses, it is amazing.

Love these gloves for shooting and driving in winter Oct 23, 2011
By MaxPower Check their website for sizing information, you can print out a hand size and then buy the right ones. I was always buying a size too big because I thought I needed them. I printed off the chart and it said I needed mediums. Went to a local home store and tried on the mediums and low and behold they fit A LOT better. I bought them here on Amazon because they were cheaper.
I wanted a set of gloves to just shoot with at the range that were not bulky and still be able to pick up ammo and load it, but not cost me a ton of money. These fit the bill, I also toss them in the truck to wear on colder days to get a grip on the wheel. My hands get hot fast once the heater is going so I don't want big o winter gloves on, but these work great in the winter time for that little bit of heat before your heater is going and you just want something between you and the cold steering wheel.
A+++ all around, I am going to pick up a couple more.

Great Shooting Gloves May 15, 2011
By Zranger I tried these gloves on a recommendation for Youtube Nuntenfancy. They make a great shooting glove and is the first glove I think I have had that actually is sized correctly. I am generally a Med sized person and do not have a large hand. But every glove I have ever bought has had to been a large size. I ordered this glove in Med it the fit is perfect. I where them shooting in cold and hot weather. Have gotten them wet and the dye does not run and stain your hands like the 5.11 gloves I used to use. I have used them for several months now and they hold up very well.

Best work glove Sep 29, 2010
By Rott boy Do a lot of household chores including auto and garden stuff. Have used lots of gloves but these are not only well-built, they provide ample dexterity which is as important as hand protection. Not the cheapest but certainly worth the extra cost. Highly recommended for us home handy men.
