High value, low cost Jul 10, 2008
By Kryler Allow me to recommend this product. I can only attest to it's value for the home. I live with two family members who are hard of hearing. Therefore everything with audio is loud: TV, stereo, radio and speaking. To make things easier for my elderly father, I installed a wireless speaker to allow him to listen to the TV. Even though the speaker is only 18" from his head, he plays it commonly @ 85db measured at that distance. These ear plugs roll out easily and remain narrow long enough to get it into the ear canal. It slowly regains it's previous volumne and seals out sounds very sucessfully. Even though the plug is deep in the ear, there is plently of plug left sticking out to grab in order to remove. BE WARNED*** These plugs seal very effectively. Therefore you MUST carefully remove the plug S-L-O-W-L-Y as there will be a strong vacuum and you may damage your eardrum if you are too aggressive. As far as sound reduction, it makes it easy for me now to remian in the living room without my ears bleeding. '¿'

Huh? Hold on, I have earplugs in and can't hear you. Jul 23, 2008
By K. Varraso Someone I know has a lot in common with a lion or a wild boar when he is sleeping. The noise is such that I would never get any sleep at all unless I used some very good earplugs. These are some very good earplugs.
They're made of a soft, rubbery plastic that you roll into a soft tube and put in your ear. Then, over the next few seconds, the world gets quieter and becomes blissfully silent. Then you can sleep, read, study, whatever you want that needs a little peace and quiet. (These also work well when you want to ignore noisy neighbor parties)
This package of earplugs is great for long term or for use by multiple people. The plastic jar that holds the earplugs keeps them clean, and is a handy addition to any nightstand. It's one of those rare, simple product that makes a claim and lives up to that claim completely. I couldn't recommend them any more highly.

AWESOME VALUE Jan 31, 2009
By Michael J. Switser This is an incredible value, especially seeing that I got 4 boxes for the price of one box almost anywhere else. I am thinking about getting another 4 boxes just so i'm stocked up for a few years. I own a landscaping business and use these a LOT. They are manufactured by Howard Leight (which is the top brand in earplugs) for Milwaukee. Can;t say enough what a good purchase this was!!!

Medium hearing protection Aug 24, 2009
By J. Berry These foam plugs are reasonably priced but do not, in my experience, provide the noise suppression as EAR branded plugs. The fit was good but I did notice the very smooth surface left my ear feeling a little damp. I used the plugs for mowing with the same equipment as always and was able to notice a difference. I believe the Milwaukee plugs gave me enough protection for this activity but wouldn't trust them to protect my hearing while using a noisy chainsaw.

Excellent for Sleeping!!! Dec 07, 2008
By Deanokat I am a very light sleeper and have tried many different brands of earplugs over the years. I've always had the same problem, though: The earplugs go in nice, but end up falling out during the night, which is really a pain. But that problem is non-existent now, thanks to these Milwaukee earplugs. I bought these during a Friday sale and got a great price on them. The price was so good, in fact, that I was skeptical that they would work. But lo and behold, these are the best earplugs I've ever used for sleeping! Roll the tip a bit between your finger and thumb (to make it a bit narrower), insert the earplug into your ear, then hold it in place until the tip expands to fit your ear snugly. Repeat with the other ear, and you're good to go! These earplugs block out a lot of sound, are comfortable, and easy to use. It's also nice that the earplugs are individually wrapped in pairs. This makes it real easy to pack some for traveling, or for keeping some on-hand in the glovebox of the car, your briefcase, or whatever. I'm really glad I bought these!!
