5This is an awesome shirt for my "Big and Tall" husband  Jun 27, 2010 By D
My husband had a white Russell dri-power shirt, and it was his favorite for summer. (He's 290 lb and 6'3. It was an XXL (not tall), and a bit small, but it kept him nice and cool during hot summers. One day he (didn't follow my suggestion to change shirts as he) worked on cars in it, and so it was ruined forever as far as wearing it out in public. So I searched for another for him. I decided to try this 2XT (adding "Tall" to hope it was a little bigger) from FogDog in black. (Russell Athletic Dri-Power.) I read the other review that says it was wayyy too big in every possible way, particularly the shoulders and sleeves, so I was worried. I should not have worried. If you are a teenager or 20-something and you like the sleeves of your t-shirt to be form-fitting around your muscles, you would say it was too big. But we always like a little wiggle room in our t-shirt sleeves so that, like, when you drive, it does not pull and seem "tight." So no, I would not say it has too much fabric, the arm holes were just right for what you would think a t-shirt should be, a little roomy. It is a little longer, and a bit wider, and while both the old shirt was not really "clingy" to my husband's belly, this one is even better yet, it is just great sizing for him, he is chubby in the tummy, but other than that, he's just built like a "normal" 40 y.o., muscles and such, not stretch marks on fat or anything (but still a 46" waist). btw, the photo (on Amazon), to me, seemed to be a little grey-ish, it's not, it's 100% black, as black as you can get and would expect. I am going to buy more in this size for him. It's a super-great shirt, he is moving from wearing regular t-shirts to these in the summer time. (The weave is so lightweight, but not at all see thru, so it's the only shirt he wears, he does not use it as an underlayer.) Take care!

5FINALLY a good T-shirt  Apr 24, 2011 By Ragnar Danneskjöld
I'm tired of workout shirts that only go down 2-3 inches below your waist, so if you exercise, you expose your belly, or have to seriously tuck in your shirt.
I'm tall, but short in the legs, so most of my height is in the torso (very long), a family trait. This shirt goes down to near the crotch area, like it SHOULD. I keep buying them and replacing my other t-shirts.

They hold up well to washings too -- fairly soft and comfortable.

2Incredibly huge!  Mar 02, 2011 By Perry Wolf
The fabric of this shirt seemed nice enough, but the shirt is incredibly HUGE! I bought the XLT, same size as I order in other brands, and this one fit me like a dress. I'm 6'4" and about 245, wear at 48L jacket. This shirt went down to my mid-thighs, and the shoulder seams were a good 4" down from my shoulder. Since it's a shirt meant for working out, I just don't think it needs to be this huge. I don't have the physique for wearing tight fitting stuff, but normal t-shirts just need a couple extra inches on the length and an inch or so on the sleeve. I was very hopeful when I ordered this t-shirt but wound up pretty disappointed.

2They must be giants...  Jan 07, 2009 By M. Brown
I've used Russell's Dri-Power t-shirts for a few years now but was limited to the standard XXL found at my local sporting goods store. Being a fairly big guy (6'5", wear a 48 Extra-Long jacket), these barely reached the top of my shorts so were relegated to workout undershirt status. I was excited to try the same shirt in a "Tall" version since all my other standard shirts (EddieBauer, Gap, etc) are XXL Tall. Simply put, this shirt is monstrous. The length of the body is a good 8" longer than my standard Russell's and the cut of the shirt is clearly much more generous despite being the same size. I have a XXXXL shirt from college that I got as a joke and this Russell XXL "Tall" is cut similarly (way off the shoulders, excessively wide sleeves, and roomy enough to stuff a pillow or two). The standard XXL fits the body perfectly, just isn't long enough in the body or sleeves. Tall's generally only add and inch or two in the body and sleeve to the standard size so I have to give this product a below average rating.

Aside from the sizing, I do love the performance of the Russell Dri-Power t-shirts. They are definitely a good value, even if just for an under-layer.

5Perfect Workout Gear  Dec 28, 2011 By CT
First clothing I have purchased and is the size as described. So nice to be able to say 4XT and get 4XT. Working out in 95 degree heat via Philippines and the material is as advertised. I would recommend order a size smaller than you are familiar with in US sizes..... use that as your size reference (Remember clothes in brick and mortar stores run 1-2 sizes smaller than actual). Again, great product and great price.
