5Great boot socks!  Aug 30, 2007 By Mike
As a Marine I am constantly wearing boots. I have been stationed in some extremely cold ares of the world the past few years and it seems that no matter how much you bundle up your feet seem to get cold first. The Thorlo line of boot socks are some of the best boot socks I have ever worn. They are thick and very paded and they provide an ample amount of warmth for your feet even in the coldest of conditions. They are even great in warmer weather because they wick away the sweat from your feet and provide a cooler feel. They are by no means cheap socks, but if you are in boots as much as I am, they are worth every penny!

5There's no better boot sock  Nov 05, 2006 By John Cardwell
These are the most comfortable boot socks I've ever owned. I own 5 pair now. They of course shrink a bit if you put them in a dryer, so I pull them out - if you dry them, just stretch them out some by hand and they go back to their normal size.

GREAT SOCK

5Warm combat socks  Feb 11, 2007 By Kathleen Mcdaniel
I sent these socks to my son in Iraq at his request - he seemed very pleased with them.

5outstanding socks  Jan 29, 2009 By Jon Norris
These are quite simply the best socks I have found. They are calf-length boot socks with specially woven padding at the heel, instep, and toes. There is no wool, for those who need to avoid that, and they fit very nicely. They do not strangle your calf, yet stay up well. A pair of these and a pair of New Balance 622s make my feet very, very happy. They also work well if you like to pair socks with sandals. Very comfy.

While a bit on the spendy side, they are worth the money. I have all that I have ever bought, going back nearly 20 years, and I wore them exclusively for most of that time. Some are getting a bit threadbare at the heel, and I have darned a few that developed holes from extended years of wear. They wash easily and just keep going and going with a reasonable level of care.

I am pleased to see Amazon offering them, as I stopped buying from my previous supplier and could not find another. I am extremely happy to see them available here. I recommend these without hesitation.

4thorlo unisex combat boot overcalf socks  Jan 21, 2010 By John And Mickey Freeman "book lover"
My husband loves these socks. He is a lineman and is diabetic. They give him a spring in his step and are very comfortable in his boots. The only negative is that they don't keep him warm as advertised. However, I would highly recommend them.
