Awesome Boots Dec 25, 2008
By Scharfy I needed a steel-toe work boot that was waterproof, insulated from the cold and most of all, comfortable. These boots met and exceeded my expectations. While we endure the most extreme weather since 1955 here in the Pacific Northwest this season, my feet have been dry/warm/comfortable while working 10 hour days in the wet/cold/uncomfortable elements. Of course, every foot is different; But if you need plenty of toe-room, good arch support and solid protection from the elements, give this boot a try.

These Boots Rock! May 15, 2009
By Jim Peschke Ok, its not easy to get excited about a pair of work boots, especially from a devout couch potato like myself, but these boots deliver on every promise. I needed new boots for tree cutting in northern New England, so the insulation and steel toe were mandatory. While I hope to never put the steel toe to the test, the insulation and comfort level of these boots is nothing short of outstanding.
I've used them on rough, uneven terrain and they perform well. Despite the higher stance compared to cheaper boots, one doesn't feel unstable walking in unforgiving lands. They fit very well (consider trying some on if possible, for I normally wear a 9.5 and bought a 10) and greatly enhance your ankle's ability to maintain an upright stance.
My only two objections are minor. The boots quickly lost their good looks after minor use, but hey, they're work boots and have come to look the part. Oh, and it would be nice if they were made somewhere other than China.

Surprisingly Comfortable 8" Boot! Jul 18, 2010
By thetoolman I bought these boots for keeping my feet dry and warm when I need to clear the driveway in the Winter. They are made like tanks and look great. The interior is nicely lined and super insulated. The boots do a great job of keeping your feet warm without causing them to sweat. One of the best features is the design of the opening to slide your foot in. It's a big wide opening allowing your foot to easily get into this 8" high boot without too much pulling. It does all this with just one eyelet needing the laces to be pulled over. The interior is both comfortable and smooth and the boot is also quite flexible thus needing very little breaking in. While these heavy duty Timberland Pro Series boots are not exactly lightweight, I was surprised that they were not heavier, particularly since they have steel toes. The aggressive Pro Ice Trax soles can tackle almost any kind of snow and frost, though you should always be careful, especially on ice! Since these boots are high end and made by Timberland, I thought they might be made in the good old USA. Finding the country of origin tag was quite difficult which made me hopeful. No such luck. I found the "made in China" tag sewn into the right of each tongue. What do we make in the US anymore? I still love these boots and highly recommend them.
Best boots I've ever owned. Jan 30, 2010

I needed some new boots for work. They had to be warm and steel-toed. These boots keep my feet warm all day in sub-freezing temperatures. By the way they're extremely comfortable too.
Comfortable warm boot Jan 27, 2010
By Brandon T. Silk I was pretty impressed with the quality and warmth of this boot. It's a bit pricey and heavy but thats a given since its a steel toe.
