The best socks on Earth! Nov 28, 2009
By SeaFree Wigwam King socks are amazing! I'm a type-2 diabetic so comfortable feet are a serious issue. Whenever I don't have to wear shoes, I wear Kings. They are thick, comfortable, and warm. Thick enough at the toe to provide protection against the inevitable bumps and bangs.
If you walk around your house in socks, one pair of Kings will outlast 8-10 pairs of "bargain" socks. White Kings are a tad softer but the Light Grey version hides dirt better. Buy one pair of each color and see what works best for you. Then fill you sock drawer with these wonders.

White Crew Socks Dec 16, 2008
By David These socks are well made, but are too thick to wear with anything but very over-sized shoes or slippers.

Socksman Jan 10, 2011
By S. Taylor Simply put - this sock is a classic! The Wigwam King Cotton Crew is a very comfortable, high quality cotton sock, which provides an equal distribution of padding around the whole foot of the sock. The cotton within this sock is spun properly taut in order to provide three essential attributes to the sock wearer: 1) the sock breathes - as any good cotton product will do - which prevents overheating within the sneaker, shoe, or boot; 2) it conforms naturally well to the wearer's foot; and, 3) the sock holds it's elasticity for years. These attributes, provide long lasting comfort while preventing bunching, sliding and subsequent blisters. I should know: I've owned 10 pair for the last four years and have used them almost on a daily basis with either mild, moderate, or extreme ambulatory activity.
The Lasting Factor: I have owned 10 pair of these King Cotton Crew socks for the past 4 years. The elasticity and the padding of the sock upheld for this long because the sock is that well constructed. That is why I've purchased 10 more.
Question: What Wears well with the King Cotton Crew? Answer: In my experience, the Wigwam King Cotton Crew has just the right amount of material to fit into your everyday cross trainer, walking, and basketball sneakers - not thin, but not thick as a winter wool sock. The King Cotton Crew also fits well within a lighter style hiking shoe/boot such as a Keen.
Why do I prefer a well constructed cotton sock over a poly-fiber sock: Since a poly-fiber sock has very little or no cotton, it will not breath well - the air between your foot and the synthetic fibers will stay trapped. Therefore, the poly-fabricated sock will most likely be manufactured with a thinner gauge of material. What about Thorlo socks? Well, they are heavily padded poly-fabricated socks with little or no cotton; thus, my feet sweat profusely after three hours of only moderate ambulatory foot activity.
Bottom Lining It: With the Wigwam King Cotton Crew sock, you'll get a well constructed cotton sock that will breath, form to your foot, give you great padding, and will last. You'll get your money's worth and your feet will thank you for it.

These are the best cotton socks that I have ever worn. The extra large size fit my size 12 feet well.

These things are not normal socks. Jan 27, 2011
By Morgas If your looking for normal socks, then these are not for you.
These things are SUPER THICK, and feel like your wearing 3 pairs of socks.
if you need really heavy socks for some reason, then these are what your looking for, whether it's for winter, or hiking, or medical conditions, or just for wearing around the house, then they'll work great.
The quality is very good, and is definitely a sock that will probably last you years.
