Woodland Thermal Jeans Jan 03, 2007
By S. A. Renfrow
"Refinery Operater"
I work outdoors in an oil refinery in the Northwest. During the winter the temperatures can drop to sub zero degrees. These jeans keep my lower body very warm and the wind does not penetrate them. They are very comfortable and the sizing is true. If you work or play outdoors in the winter, these jeans are for you!

By C. Patterson My husband loved these jeans but had to change when he came inside. They are definitely cold weather, outside jeans.

Warmest Jeans Mar 08, 2007
By GeoGil I do a lot of short hikes in the local forest preserves and parks with my dog as an avid Geocacher and don't want to be changing from ski or other type lined pants for quick trips to a restaurant, visiting friends, the bank, the dentist. These jeans are the warmest that fit that need. Some hunting, ski, and camo pants also have thinsulate or even wool or down linings but don't have the appearance of regular blue jeans.
Though these jeans are not waterproof, the thinsulate lining stays relatively dry and warm against the skin similar to wool but without the scratching. These jeans are difficult to find even in big box outdoor stores where I originally discovered and purchased them. A bigger difficulty was finding them in my size but Amazon solved that problem.

These are just the pants for the 0 degree and below New York winter. Well made, nice fit, and reasonable price.
